BERYL CURTIS MYATT

Beryl Curtis Myatt, 95, Lexington, MO, died peacefully November 16, with her son, Curt, by her bedside.

Beryl was born May 28, 1921 in Lexington, MO, the daughter of James Boyd Curtis and Elizabeth (Noever) Curtis, and lived there all of her life. She married Richard "Dick" Myatt on August 10, 1947 in Lexington. She was a life-long member of First Christian Church in Lexington and a member of Christian Women's Fellowship. Beryl served as Den Mother with the Cub Scouts. She will be remembered by many for her business "Beryl's Knit Shop", where she worked with many who aspired to knit as well as she.

Survivors include her son Curt Myatt, Shawnee, KS: granddaughter, Brianne and husband, Tim, and great-grandchildren, Abigail and Silas, all of Fort Worth, Texas, and a niece, Donna Jones Clark of Kansas City, MO. Beryl was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Myatt, her parents, and sisters, Maurine Jones and Alice Curtis.

Visitation will be 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 22 with 3 p.m. services at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington, MO. (660) 259-2245 Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lexington. Memorials are suggested to the Presbyterian Disciples Church, Lexington.
