Bertha Lee (Koehler) Crawford

Bertha Lee Crawford, 93, of Odessa, passed away August 25, 2021 at the Villages of Jackson Creek, Independence. There will be a visitation on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 2:00 until 3:00 pm at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, Odessa. The family prefers that everyone wears masks. A graveside service will be Monday, August 30, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Odessa Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association. Bertha was born July 28, 1928 in Cement, Oklahoma to Fredrick and Lilly (May) Koehler. She graduated from Cement High School in 1947. On July 8, 1952 she married Carrol Crawford in Brownwood, Texas. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Rodney Crawford of Weatherford, TX, Clayton “Butch” Crawford and wife Carla of Odessa, Carrol Ann Tompkins and husband Dorman of Gravois Mills, MO, Kenneth Crawford of Odessa, Charles “Chuck” Crawford of Blue Springs and John Crawford and wife Lisa of Bates City; sister, Barbara Hood and husband Willis of York, NE; sisters in law, Eleanor Koehler and Rose Koehler of Cement, OK: 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

Bertha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Fred Koehler, Robert Koehler and Harold Koehler; and sisters, Sue Carpenter, Gladys Ray and Clara May Koehler.
