BERTHA ELIZABETH WESTERMAN

Bertha E. Westerman, 100, of Wellington, MO passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at St. Marys Manor in Blue Springs, MO. Bertha E. Skold was born November 22, 1914 in Rosedale, KS to August and Ingeborg Walgren Skold. She married Alton C. �Monk� Westerman on April 21, 1934. Mrs. Westerman was a homemaker. Bertha is survived by her children: Joan Patton, and husband, Ray, Blue Springs, Alton Westerman, Jr. and wife, Joyce, Lexington, and Judy Klotz and husband, Jack, Sugar Creek, MO. There are 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a great-granddaughter, Mercy Ratliff, a half-brother, Jack Abdolar, and a half-sister, Louise Peterson. Services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South St., Lexington, MO (660) 259-2245. Burial in Wellington City Cemetery. Visitation from 12:30 p.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or to St. Marys Manor.
