Benjamin Roy Reade

Benjamin Roy Reade, Sr., 71, of Odessa, Missouri, passed away January 2, 2018 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Blue Springs, Missouri. Funeral service will be Monday, January 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, Missouri. Visitation will also be on Monday at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Benny was born January 2, 1947 to Benjamin H. and Hazel (Hill) Reade in Kansas City, Missouri. He worked for MO-PAC for more than 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, puzzles, collecting coins and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Sherry Dilday of Lexington, Sandy Huffman and husband Mark of Wellington, Theresa O'Dell and husband Johnnie of Buckner, Benjamin Reade, Jr. and wife Rona of Lexington, and Joanna Reade and companion Charles Mallot of Wellington; his sister, Virginia Bingham of Norborne; 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Benny was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Jeanette Reade; granddaughter, Megan Elaine Huffman; two sisters, Katherine Graning and Jeanette Callahan; and two brothers, James and Jacob Reade.
