Barbara Margaret (Walton) Wilson, 84 of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Lexington, MO. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Barbara was born on April 16, 1936 in Henrietta, MO to Carl and Anna (Wilken) Walton. On March 30, 1952 she married Bobby Joe Wilson, Sr. in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. He preceded her in death in 1994. Barbara was a homemaker, taking care of her family. In addition to spending time with family and friends she enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting.
Survivors include eight children, Bobby Joe Wilson, Jr. of Cameron, MO, Malia Emerson (David), Johnny Wilson (Brandy), Roxanna Hammond, Cathy Meierer (Donald), Carolann Miller, Shane Wilson (Missy), Carla Beretta (Kirt), all of Lexington, MO; 28 grandchildren, Jeff, Bobby, Jr., Amy, Jaqueline, Merissa, Chelsea, Ashley, Krista, Stacey, Devin, Drew, Josh, Brandon, Chad, Quinton, Spencer, Anna, Mariah, Nathan, Tiffany, Shane, Alysia, Sierra, Amelia, Nick, Reece, Selena, Jonathan; 45 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ann Page (John) of Lexington, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Matthew “BO” Wilson and Hayden Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Madison Wilson and Skylynn Meierer; a brother, Howard Walton; and two son-in-laws, Marvin Hammond and Marty Miller.
