Austin Christopher Williams, 30, of Lexington, passed away February 24, 2019 at North Kansas City Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Lexington First Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the Amori Williams Education Fund, in care of Jessica LaJaunie.
Austin was born July 23, 1988 in Lexington to Marie Williams. He graduated from Blue Springs South High School in 2007. He worked in assembly for Adient of Riverside, Missouri. He was a member of Second Baptist Church of Lexington, where he was baptized in 1997 and sang in the church choir. He enjoyed expressing himself through his writing and love for music. He spent his time around his loving family and closest friends, whom he considered family, James Harker, DelReco Mitchell and Shane Simpson.
Austin is survived by his daughter, AmoriWilliams; fiancee, Jessica LaJaunie; mother, Marie Williams; aunt, Darlene Williams; and uncles, Gary Williams and wife Connie, Robert Keith Williams and wife Christy and Derek Williams and wife Christie, all of Lexington. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Louis and Helen Estell Williams; uncles, Louis Wayne Williams and Donald Williams; and cousin, Jason Williams.
