Audrey Smith

Audrey L. (Hopkins) Smith, 69, of Kansas City, Missouri formerly of Odessa passed away Monday, July 22, 2024, at her residence. 

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, 

at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Bates City, Missouri. Memorials are suggested to the family in the care of Amanda Minjares. Audrey was born April 19, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri to J.C. and Barbara (Jeffries) Hopkins. She graduated from Blue Springs High School. Audrey worked at Best Western as a receptionist. She was a member of Maywood Baptist Church in Independence, Missouri. Her grandchildren were her entire world. Along with spending time with family and friends, Audrey enjoyed reading and sewing. 

Audrey is survived by her significant other, Chris Heinrich, two children, Amanda Minjares and Howard Mann; four grandchildren, Breauna Williams, Madison Sanders, Camila Minjares, Kinley Monk; two great grandchildren, Easton Williams, Camden Carpenter; one brother, Edmond Hopkins. 

Audrey was preceded in death by both her parents.
