Audrey Fern Boldridge Smith, 91, of Lexington, MO passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Riverbend Heights Health and Rehabilitation. Audrey Boldridge was born November 19, 1923 in Lexington, MO, to Leon Boldridge and Rosetta Boldridge Lawson. She was a high school graduate of Douglas School in Lexington. She was an Inspector for S & K Industries, retiring in 1986. After retiring, she worked part-time at The Battle of Lexington Visitor Center. She was a lifelong resident of Lexington. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church in Lexington until it closed, and she became a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church. At Second Baptist she was a member of the Mothers Board, Womens Missionary Union and Sunday School. She was a life member of the Central District Missionary Baptist Association Womens Missionary Union. Audrey is survived by a son, Emanuel Mason, Jr., Lexington; three daughters, Annette Williams and Penny Ward Bledsoe, Kansas City, MO; and Tennie (Alfred) Hamilton, Allen, TX; three sisters, Irma Ingram, Hartford, Conn; Harriet Mason, Lexington; and Barbara Way, Kansas City, MO; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Leo, five brothers, Leon, Jr., Lester, Robert, Russell, and Otis; two sisters, Effie Jolene and Billie; two granddaughters, Tonia and Sonya and one grandson, Randy. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Second Baptist Church in Lexington. Burial will be in Lexington Memory Gardens.
