Ashley Nicole Waddell, 16, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Lexington, MO. Ashley was born on May 16, 2000 in Blue Springs, MO to Eric Dean and Sarah “Shelley” M. (Moss) Waddell. She was currently attending Odessa High School. Ashley was a member of the OHS Color Guard and an Honor Student. She was currently employed with Sonic in Grain Valley, MO. In addition to spending time with her family, boyfriend Austin Wood and friends, Ashley enjoyed listening to music, going to the lake and spending time with her two dogs, Winston her Corgi and Sadie her Australian Shepherd.
In addition to her mother Shelley, Ashley is survived by a sister, Erica Michelle Waddell of Odessa, MO; grandparents, Fred and Barbara Moss of Hamilton, MO and Beverly Waddell of Lexington, MO; aunts and uncles, Steve and Liz Waddell of Lexington and Mike and Deborah Moss of Batesville, AR; lots of extended family.
Ashley was preceded in death by her father, Eric Dean Waddell and her paternal grandfather, Charles M. Waddell.
