Arnold William Viebrock, 90 of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Meyer Care Center in Higginsville, MO.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 10:30 am at the Grace Lutheran Church, 806 S. Business Hwy 13, Lexington. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the church, from 6 to 8 pm. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church or the Lexington R-V Hall of Fame for Career Achievement in honor of Arnold Viebrock for a scholarship to be established at a later date. Memorials may be left at the services of in care of the funeral home. Burial will be in the Memory Gardens Cemetery, Lexington. Memories of Arnold and condolences for his family may be left at

Arnold William Viebrock was born on September 23, 1930 to Willie and Alvine (Ehlers) Viebrock in Cole Camp, MO. He was baptized into Christ on October 8, 1930. Mr. Viebrock graduated from Cole Camp high school in 1949. He enlisted in the United States Army and served from 1954 until 1956. Arnold then attended Central Missouri Teacher College where he received his BS(53) MS(58) and Education Specialist(68). Arnold Viebrock married Martha Jane Turner on June 7, 1959 in Independence, MO. Mr. Viebrock started as an Industrial Arts teacher in 1956 and soon became the high school principal in fall of 1960. During his time as principal, he worked hard to develop strong academics, extra-curricular, and athletic programs. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, traveling, and reading. Arnold was very active serving in the community and church.
Survivors include, three daughters, Susan Mulcahy and husband, Tim, Olathe, KS: Kathryn Swafford and husband Mark, Lexington and Mary Lee Hair and husband, Terry, Kansas City, MO. There are 6 grandchildren, Erin Rosenthal and husband, Matt, Brian Mulcahy and wife, Kathy, Lyndsay Swafford, Ashley Swafford, Will Collins, and Leah Collins and great grandchildren, Annie and Lily Rosenthal. Also surviving is a brother, Vernon Viebrock well as many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Viebrock was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Martha, a brother Leroy Viebrock, and a sister Violet O’Keefe.
