ANDY �HAP� MORTON FULLER Andy �Hap� M. Fuller, 93, of Lexington, MO formerly of New Boston, IL passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington, Mo. Andy Morton Fuller was born April 14, 1921 at Bay Island, IL, the son of Tim Leroy Fuller and Mildred Ireidah Markley Fuller. He married Connie Leona Hope at Paulsbo, WA, they later divorced, and he married Marcella June Gronewald Carey at New Boston, IL. Hap was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. He had worked for the Corp of Engineers as a crane operator at Lock & Dam 17 & 18 on the Mississippi River. Hap also farmed most of his life. He was a member of the American Legion Post 60 at Lexington and the Masonic Lodge #0059 at New Boston, IL. Hap was a neighborhood favorite with the children (who called him �Happy�) and also the adults. He could be seen fixing bikes, airing bike tires, or on his riding lawn mower either mowing grass or chopping leaves. Hap is survived by his children: Janet Wright and Steven E. Fuller, both of Lexington, MO. Steven Carey (Charlene), New Boston, IL, David Carey (Barbara), Wentzville, MO, and Penny Carey Dierickx, Muscatine, Iowa. There are 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Connie, his wife, Marcella, a daughter, Christine, a brother, Cody Fuller, a sister, Edith Fuller Havemann Heerey and a granddaughter, Christine McConohy. Services will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Speer Funeral Home, 2502 S.E. 3rd St., Aledo, IL. Burial will be in the Eliza Creek Cemetery, Eliza, IL with Military Rites. Visitations will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, November 9 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington, MO and from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 10 at the Speer Funeral Home in Aledo, IL. Memorials in Haps memory may be made to the Lexington Food Pantry or the New Boston United Methodist Church.
