Karen Sue (Westerhold) Ailor, 65, of Blue Springs, Missouri formerly of Odessa, MO passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Lee?s Summit Medical Center in Lee?s Summit, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524 with Reverend John Churchill officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Grandchildren's Scholarship Fund in care of Angela Meads. Condolences for the family may be left at www.ralphojones.com or on our Facebook Page.

Karen was born on December 29, 1950 in Odessa, MO to Donald and Maxine (Fox) Westerhold. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1968. Karen retired from Lake City Army Ammunition Plant after 30 plus years. She was a member of the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church in Odessa, MO. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Mexico and Hawaii. In addition to spending time with family and friends, she enjoyed hosting Christmas and having everyone together.

In addition to her parents, Karen is survived by two daughters, Angie Meads and husband Rick of Odessa, MO and Michelle Dowell of Independence, MO; three grandchildren, Kendra Corley and husband Kyle Robison, Kyler Corley and Storm Greenway; one great grandchild, Nash Robison; a brother, Larry Westerhold and wife Toni of Odessa; two nieces, Michelle Runnels and Misty Schieber; and three nephews, Justin and Damon Westerhold, and Michael Miller.
