Alvin Fredrick �Fritz� Begemann, Jr., 58, of Lexington, Missouri passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Fritz was born on November 9, 1955 in Lexington, MO to Alvin Fredrick �Fred� Begemann, Sr. and Dorothy Jean (Claunch) Begemann. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1974. On July 2, 1976 Fritz was united in marriage to Vicky Lynne (Rukavina) Begemann in Wellington, MO. He was currently employed with W.W. Grainger as a Support Specialist since 1997. Prior to W.W. Grainger Fritz worked at Kennys Supermarket as a Meat Cutter for more than 20 years. Fritz was Christian by faith. He loved the Kansas City Royals, listening to 610 sports radio, golfing, fishing, mowing, spending time with his family, friends and most of all, his granddaughter Mika. In addition to his mother and wife, Fritz is survived by two children, Brenna Leigh Begemann of Lexington, MO and Justin Michael Begemann and wife Heather of Higginsville, MO; a granddaughter, Mika Nicole Begemann of Higginsville, MO; a brother David Begemann and wife Sara of Blue Springs, MO; two sisters, Mickey Simnitt and husband Scott of Lexington, MO and Shelly Brock and husband Larry of Lexington, MO; mother in law, Hester Rukavina; two brother in laws, John Rukavina and wife Marla of Wellington, MO and Mark Rukavina and wife Susan of Wellington, MO; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his father, Fritz was preceded in death by a sister, Tamorah Steele, and his father in law, Joe Rukavina. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the Walker-Nadler �Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 S. St., Lexington, MO, 60467, 660-259-2245 with Reverend Liz Deveney officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Machpelah Cemetery.
