Allen Gene Bush

Allen Gene Bush, 73, of Odessa, Missouri formerly of Oak Grove passed away Monday, July 22, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family. 

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Odessa Cemetery. Memorial are suggested to VFW 5675. Allen was born September 19, 1950, in Odessa, Missouri to Elmo Lee and Lena Catherine (Morris) Bush. He attended Oak Grove. Allen proudly served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1970. After his services, Allen was self employed as a mechanic for many years. Allen was united in marriage to Linda (Mason) Bush on July 30, 1971, in Oak Grove, Missouri. He was Baptist by faith. Along with spending time with family and friends, Allen enjoyed racecars, fishing, boating, and traveling. 

Allen was survived by his loving wife Linda Bush of Odessa, MO; three children, Mary Bush of Warrensburg, MO, Adam Bush of Odessa, MO, and Eric Bush of Odessa, MO; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one brother, David (Vicky) Bush of Buckner, MO; three sisters, Judy (Grodan) Wilson of El Dorado Springs, MO, Carol Macha of Oak Grove, MO, Sharon Ward of El Dorado Springs, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. 

Allen was preceded in death by both his parents.
