Alice Luetta Wiley

Alice L. Wiley, 91, of Lexington passed away on Saturday, April 06, 2019 at Riverbend Heights Health and Rehabilitation Center, Lexington. MO. Funeral services for Alice will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Lexington United Methodist Church. Visitation for Alice will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm at the church also. Burial will be at Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorials for Alice may be made to the Lexington United Methodist Church for new banners for the church.

Alice Luetta Willard was born on April 10, 1927 in Lexington, MO to Benjamin H. and Dovy May Brumback Willard. She married Lloyd H. Wiley on December 21, 1946 in Lexington, MO. Alice has worked at the Dunhill Shirt factory which became Dunbrook shirt factory. She also worked at S & K Industries as well as Lake City Munitions Plant. Alice loved her church and was a long time member and volunteer of the Lexington United Methodist church and a member of the United Methodist Women. She also volunteered at the Lexington Clothes Closet and Lexington Food Pantry.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Connie Meierer and husband, Larry, Lexington. There are three grandchildren,Billy, Todd and Becky and 6 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Leanna Jackson and Darlene Blevins both of Wyandotte, OK. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, Cary, John and Donald and two sisters, Janie Norton and Kathleen Keel.
