Alice Jane Burnette

Alice Juanita Jane Burnette, 83, of Lexington, MO passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at her home. Alice Juanita Jane Farris was born on January 15, 1931 in Kansas City, MO. to Alfred Porter Farris and Georgie Mae Baughman. She married Robert Paul Burnette on April 16th, 1967 in Kansas City, Mo. He preceded her in death on October 11, 2011. Mrs. Burnette had been a homemaker and attended the Baptist church. Survivors include her two children, Tina Shroyer(Randy), and Danny Wayne Burnette both of Lexington. There are 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, John, Ben, and Butch Farris, Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Robert, two sisters, Olive McGarrah and Rosie Horn and a brother Raymond Farris. Graveside Memorial services will be held at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville for Robert and Alice Burnette on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at 3:00 pm with military rites.
