Glen Steven Nadler

August 5, 1949 — April 26, 2022

Beloved husband, father, and “Papa”, Glen Steven Nadler, passed away on April 26, 2022, at the age of 72 surrounded by his family.

Glen was born on August 5, 1949, to Edith and Reuben Nadler, and is survived by wife, Sally Nadler, his children, Jason & Kera Nadler, Shelly & Todd Nieweg, and Chad & Angela Nadler, his 7 grandchildren, Sydney (19), Megan (16), Ethan (12), Hayden (12), Alex (11), Samantha (8), and Elaina (8), his brother, Larry Nadler, his sister-in-law, Sandy Slusher, his brother-in-law, Dr. Morgan Slusher, and lots of nieces and nephews.

Glen owned Nadler’s Meats and Catering for 35 years after he took over the business (started in 1943) from his parents in 1987. Glen was a proud member of the Wellington-Napoleon Community and could often be found at Wellington-Napoleon basketball and football games, the annual Wellington Fair, and various events throughout the community. Glen loved cruising with Sally and had recently taken a cruise with her for 11 days throughout the Caribbean to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Glen enjoyed playing at Harrah’s and loved to spoil his grandchildren rotten, whether with lottery tickets or surprise trips. You could often find Glen after-hours up at the shop chatting with friends from the community. Glen will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and employees, as well as the Missouri Lottery Commission and Harrah’s Casino. Glen worked hard, played hard, and celebrated life to the fullest.
